ICEKIJA!!!!! Wow. More comments in a letter to you to follow soon, but we start off with co-director Hilbert's statement, “Colin Turnbull was the ONLY OTHER visitor to film the Ik”. WHAT?????
My favorite part of the trailer is the subtitle. Not that I think it applies, but what an attention getter. I was a little worked up that they made it sound like they were--I don't know--the only people to make this dangerous excursion to a remote people . . . I mean, was this filmed before ya'll moved out there--? Because you LIVE there. Love the lady's expression when they ask her if she would let her daughter marry an IK--to me it was basically "What an awkward question--nobody asks things like that."
